4 out of 5 stars Titan Pathfinder Men's 18 Speed   April 19, 2010

This was a gift and we have only gone for one ride around the neighborhood. So... during that ride all worked great and looked great and felt great. But it hasn't really been put to the test. So this rating is a first impression. Seems to be a good bike.

I had difficulty with the disrailler (sic?) when my chain came off of the drive and I tried to put the chain on. Before then, I liked the bike. Now it breaks down too often. The chain guard is plastic, held on by 4 very cheap small screws. The brakes are adequate, but need to be adjusted if you ever replace a tire or loosen the back wheel. I like the weight and size and the seat which make for a relatively comfortable ride and ease for putting it on a bike rack. I like the choice of speeds, I can go uphill and downhill comfortably. I only use it on paved surfaces by choice. I would like to be able to find parts and a diagram of the assembly. I prefer to do my own work, but maybe if I had easy access to a bike shop, I would be better off with this bike.
